MY STORY
My Journey into WordPress and Digital Marketing
My journey started with something very personal – building my own business.
During my college years, I started Lael.inn, a jewellery brand. Running my own business gave me a chance to understand different parts of building a brand in real world. I learned about customers, content creation, social media, online promotion and branding. Most importantly, i understood the importance of having a strong online presence.
That experience made me increasingly interested in how businesses grow online. I wanted to understand how digital platforms can help a brand reach the right audience. As a result, I started exploring digital marketing more deeply. This led me to learn about SEO, social media marketing, content creation, website development, and digital strategy.
EDUCATION
From Commerce to Digital
I completed my Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Devagiri, Calicut.
my commerce background gave me a strong foundation in business.
During my college years, I was also a part of Nirvana, one of the biggest college events. I worked with the Finance Team for three years. This experience helped me improve my teamwork, responsibility, and leadership skills.
In addition, I had the opportunity to take part in hackathon conducted at my institute HACA. My team won the competition for creating the best WordPress landing page.
MY BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
I Learned Business by Building One
Before working professionally in the digital space, I experienced the challenges of building a brand through my own jewellery business, Lael.inn.
Running a business taught me lessons that I could not learn from a classroom. I got to understand customers, branding, social media, content and communication online. I also learned how important it is for a business to adapt to changing customer needs.
It taught me about the realities of entrepreneurship. I learned to manage limited resources, understand risks, learn from mistakes and find better ways to create value for customers.
